Networks, servers and backups
The stuff in the cupboard that everything else depends on. We design, set up and look after networks, Wi-Fi, servers and backups that just work, and a plan for when things go wrong.
Talk to us about your setupNetworks and Wi-Fi with UniFi
We build networks on Ubiquiti UniFi. It's priced for small business, it's reliable, and everything from the firewall to the last Wi-Fi access point is managed from one place.
- Firewalls and gateways that keep the bad stuff out
- Wi-Fi that reaches the office, the shed and the cellar door
- Separate guest Wi-Fi, so visitors never touch your business network
- Switches, cameras and door access on the same platform
- Remote management, so many fixes don't need a site visit
Cabling and internet
For new cabling, we work with licensed cablers we trust and manage the job for you.
We don't sell internet plans, but we'll help you pick the right NBN or business connection, deal with the provider and get it working with your network.
Ask about your networkServers
Not everything belongs in the cloud. When it makes sense to keep something in-house, we set it up properly.
Sized for your business
We work out what you actually need, so you're not paying for a server twice the size or replacing an undersized one in two years.
Virtualised by default
We usually run servers as virtual machines on Proxmox, so they're easier to back up, restore and move to new hardware later.
Patched and monitored
Updates, health checks and warnings about failing disks, as part of our IT support.
Replaced when it's time
We plan hardware upgrades ahead of time, so an old server gets retired on your schedule rather than when it dies.
Backups and disaster recovery
A backup you've never tested is just a hope. We set up backups to match what you run, check they work, and plan how you'd get back up and running.
Proxmox Backup Server
Fast, space-saving backups of whole virtual machines, with quick restores when something goes wrong.
Veeam
We supply and set up Veeam licences for Windows servers, VMware and Microsoft 365 backups.
Off-site and cloud copies
A copy kept somewhere else, in Backblaze cloud storage or SharePoint, so a fire, flood or break-in doesn't take your data with it.
A plan for the bad day
We write down what gets restored first, how long it takes and who does what, so you're not making it up during a crisis.
